Actually trampoline was known very early but not considered as a competitive sport but rather as a hunting device or a funny game. It is said that the first “trampoline” was developed by the Inuit and was mainly used when hunting whales. You have to know that Alaska is covered with ice completely in the cold sessions and that many whales are in the Northern parts of the Sea due to rich plankton sources. The Inuit however needed the fed and the flesh to survive the hard winters of Alaska. As a result they were not only hunting smaller mammals (like seals and robes) but also greater ones like whales being in the seas around Alaska.
